Quick and dirty

Does a quick comparison across dates, including past dates and future. Great for helping clients understand how to plan their investments for inflation.

Does what it says and the price is right. I deducted a star because it's not easy to delete an entry and you can't enter a decimal.

Some calculators aren't current enough-they may stop at 2011, for example but this one doesn't go far enough back in time. The data exists but maybe not in the particular database used. There are plenty of inflation calculator apps as well as online available with a longer period of time, going back to the early 1800s. This has averages so what it does have may be more useful than some others if you're looking for quarterly averages.

I loved this app, when it was current

I loved this app but it hasn't been updated in ages! It was and still is the only inflation calculator with quarterly values but it simply only guesses the value of money past 2011. It was also great for being able to type in the year instead of scrolling through the years like all the apps do now. I miss this app so much!
