Why even have it?

The app doesn't interoperate with apple health, fitbit or any other fitness solution. Further, its nearly impossible to see your results. Totally worthless as it is right now. Too bad because equipment is decent.

Our gym just upgraded their Precor machines to the new gen ones, so I downloaded this app to get the full benefits. I won’t reiterate all the other complaints found in these reviews. However, how can any respectable company go for FOUR years without an update? I mean, seriously? Come on, get your act together, folks!
USELESS - Abandoned App

This app is NOT FOR YOU! Don’t bother to download this. It’s been 5 years since developer has even touched the app. It’s become painfully obvious, this app was NOT built for users — the very people who would download this. It was built as a marketing tool to sell more units as the company can say “Yes! Our expensive equipment has an app.” and trick gyms/institutions/etc into thinking this is actually helpful for their users. It isn’t. Look at the other reviews. The app (even years ago, before it was completely abandoned) wasn’t satisfying what end-users expected to have in an app. NOTE TO WHINING APOLOGISTS: don’t post a review saying “You just don’t undestaaaaaaaaand!! The app is for other things than what you want it to be, therefore it is acceptable”. I don’t care if the app bakes fresh chocolate-chip cookies and unicorn kisses. The user base doesn’t want that for exercise equipment. If you try to say we “just don’t understand”, you become immediately suspect of being a corporate shill. Other notes: • No Apple Health (Or any other) integration. Why is on iOS then? Oh yeah, the company abandoned the app anyway... HALF A DECADE AGO. • Can't enter information from the past. You forgot to enter yesterday? Tough luck. • No edit. Make a mistake? Again, tough luck. • Even Individual events difficult to review. But you can look at meaningless pretty medals instead. Plenty of errors (e.g., data entry fields shift off screen and thus you can't use them). It’s just junk. Don’t bother with this app. But do bother to tell your facility or gym not to waste any further budgetary dollars on equipment that doesn’t support the facility’s own customer base.

Considering what devices can do already this app is useless for actual user of machine. Data collected doesn’t crossover to health app. This company is behind the times with this app and has so much potential. This app seems to be more of an advertising and information center about machine.
Doesn’t work with iOS 13

Never mind app was pretty much useless, after upgrade to iOS 13 I can’t launch it no more. Developers - are you going to update this app? Pls dont just make it work also would be nice to see syncing with apple health and put statistics in more user friendly manner

Purchased a TRM 445 Treadmill new. In six months Precor has had to replace the control head twice and the heart strap once. Now that sounds bad, but actually that is the good thing. Precor and the distributors were quick to address and fix those technical issues. What is not so good, actually in all fairness I can say what is terrible is Precor's Preva app. The issues are to numerous to go into here, but I will say the compatibility with the 445 is bad. I have talked with the local retailer, he has talked with his area rep, and I have spoken directly with Precors support. Bottom line is they recognize the problems and address them as a bug with no timeline as to when they will be corrected. Speaking of that the two support personnel I spoke with said they had never even heard of any software fix or update in their history with Precor. So with that, if Precor can not fix there software you probably should not trust their hardware either. Very Disappointing! Did I mention Preva does not record averages and most importantly doesn’t record to keep a history of heart rate date. Isn’t this one of he most important reasons to exercise in the first place?

I’ve deleted this app and am moving to something that is more reliable and easier to use. Even though my phone was connected to my Precor treadmill my workout would fail to register because of “difficulty connecting to the server”. Enough!

I wholeheartedly agree with the review go said all the data collected by this app sits in a walled garden. No real-time mirroring of your workout and no way to save your workout Delete.
