I have one security camera that I bought to test and I am happy with it. I got it on Amazon for about 40, I bought it because it has the option to store on a 32gb micros as card, I didn’t want to pay monthly fees and though the option is available you can use the free app and your sad card. (Yi is the name in case anyone wants to know). I mention the other only because with all the features the camera has, night vision motion detection Etc.....this app compares quite well. For anyone on a tight budget that has an old iPhone this is a solution. I’m in awe that it works as well as it does. The motion detection feature might even beat my other setup. I have to explore the paid version more but I give it 5 stars. I do allot of the phone repairs for work, I have 5 or 6 older iPhones that we decided were not worth fixing (cracked screen,battery) the cameras work fine and I now have a use for them. My daughter set it up and she has no patience for technical stuff so I imagine set-up is simple. Great idea that is well executed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Edited to add: the pro feature is very cheap, 5gb of storage for $5 a month is about as low as it can get. My Yi cam is $20 a month for the pro version.
Spotty performance and unstable

When it works, it's great. My cameras (old iPhones) frequently go down and the SW can be really clunky to use on slower internet speeds. SW is unstable at times. Get what you pay for - glad it's free!
Has been a good app till a week ago

A week ago the app stopped taking and storing videos. It keeps saying that my storage is full even though I have the app set to automatically delete older videos so new ones can be recorded. I sent a service request to support group on May 27 or so. They responded that they had a known bug issue and had resolved it. They were in process of doing quality control. It’s been 4 days and still not resolved. This is their response “Brian (Presence by People Power Co) May 27, 14:03 PDT Hello, We want to update you on the progress of a known issue of our systems not reporting the correct storage readings. Our Engineers worked to identify the issue and have corrected it. The fix is now being verified by our Quality Assurance team. Thanks again for reporting the issue. Best, Presence Technical Support” I wonder if their system has been hacked?
No support app has major flaws

This app is total junk no support very unreliable . !! No support at all just a bunch of auto replies from a Brian the issue is no record of events the memory is full 99 % full can not delete any videos There support keeps saying they have had problems and have fixed it —- not thru same issues all kinds of problems no security with this app very unreliable with any iPhone Your update is also the same will not record and can not delete any videos !!!!

There’s still a bug for iOS users that tells it that the server is full and needs deleted. I have been following the instructions that support has given such as the last update a couple days ago was supposed to address this specific situation. It has not unfortunately, having deleted the app and logging in on PC it still say that it’s storage is full however there are no videos to show. Please fix.

I use the free version and I’m very happy that I can make use of a cheap old iPod touch as a motion activated recording camera in my music studio. I even set up my girlfriends iPad on my account to observe the cat when we were gone for 24 hours.
