Said my firmware was incompatible. Contacted support and their recommendation was to downgrade by firmware. Lets see, fly my $1000 aircraft with less than the recommended mfg improvements in violation of FAA requirements which require a safe and airworthy craft, or just not use this app and leave a review warning others about the companies unwillingness to update their software in keeping with UAV firmware updates...
Easy to setup a flight plan, slide to start the flight and sit back and watch it collect the data. This app is a must have for anyone wanting to collect data on your farm and more.
Said my firmware was no good. Newest available on my P4P, must’ve been too knew lol However did let me fly survey but took pictures too dark to see anything. Even checked and reset camera to auto beforehand to be sure and tried again
I've been waiting for this app and to come through the Apple red tape and onto my iPad. I can create a map of up to 55 acres (22 hectares) at a time (plenty of battery left. Safe assumption this will go up with time/updates). Works with DJI: -Matrice -Inspire -Phantom 3 & 4 This app does not stop at just creating a map! It's an all in one solution with DataMapper.com's exclusive algorithms and secure data servers to take your data to the next level.
Easy to plan flights and capture imagery. Works great with my Phantom 4.
Setup to fly and drone went haywire. Crashed into a tree. Use at your own risk.
Not working with phantom 4 pro. It doesn't make photos. Support has received flightlog, but no answers yet.
No specific camera settings, can't set camera overlap or mission speed, unable to adjust mission heading, etc. In all from a professional point this app is useless, as for a hobbyist it might be acceptable.
This new version is very easy to use. The setup and execution of flight plans is great. The failsafes are reliable. It is missing a signal strength meter. The battery meter can freeze. The pause and resume incomplete flight works great. The flight path and image overlays are very precise.
Still tells me it doesn't have the latest firmware even though I have the newest firmware. It said the same thing with the last app upgrade. Please fix this
