Let Practice Buddy help your young music student become a more motivated musician by practicing every day! Teachers, manage your students with an all-in-one app!
This app is okay. I would call it sort of helpful. I like how the admin is password protected. There is a lot that could be added without making it too complicated. There is one really annoying thing: you cannot use other apps while the practice timer is going. If you hit the home button on your iPad, it resets the timer. This means that if I need the iPad while my daughter is practicing, her practice time is not tracked while I am on the iPad and she is not given credit for that time. The time should be tracked and there should be a pop-up notice when the preset practice time is up. This is irritating because now I have to buy another timer app. Ugh.
This app is a great way to help kids get into music by getting them to practice their musicial instruments with prizes and incentives. Great for parents and fun for kids!
This app is a great tool to help my daughter maintain a good practice schedule for her guitar. Rewards help too!
I have two kids and can't set them both up on this app! Whenever I try to add a second account, it erases the first account.
This app is a great way to get kids excited about practicing. I love that kids can choose a reward to work towards, set a timer, record a clip of their practice, receive feedback and get a sticker for immediate positive reinforcement. I am using this with my own kids and with my music students. Improvements I would like to see would be more stickers that appeal to boys, and a way that kids could play back and hear their one minute of recorded practice on their end of the app.
