This is a really cool app, but the photos the use to advertise the app are not the default filters. You have to purchase them in the app. The filter that come standard are very washed out and terrible, and not in the intended way. Just beware that you'll need to pay more to get the "better" retro looking filters.

Fun 8-bit photos. It made my kids giggle and I love the sounds! I will use this to make a new profile pic for Facebook.

I was at the edge. I was very close to doing it. I don't know how it happened, but something drew me back. Pulled me away from that dark, endless nothingness. It wasn't an iPhone app that saved me, it was something more than that. Love? Family? Brotherhood? Community? Self-awareness? Maybe. But this photo app is pretty fun.

This app brings me back to those halcyon, pixelated days trying to rescue the princess, only to find she was in another castle. Anyway, this is super fun.
