APP is great even without a plane!

I just got the APP v. 3.0 and don't have a plane yet so I am reserving the 5th star for after I get the plane in the air... Meanwhile, the APP is useful all by itself. It is an accurate, quick, compass that can be very useful. Better than some other "compass only" APPs. ALSO, there is a button that seems to tune in the local airport tower. Interesting to listen to. I haven't verified if it's a live feed but it sounds authentic. I did not notice the horizon being reversed. It moves up when you tilt (iPhone5) up, and down, left, right and follows the iPhone tilt. I think I'll invest in a plane if it's only $29.00. That twice the price of a pocket quad opted at GearBest but who's counting? My question is: do they supply a stack of preprinted papers to make the plane? Weight of paper could be important. Maybe the "whiners" tried to use standard 20# letter paper? Some pre-instructions would be nice. Maybe there is some now? Overall this sounds like a great project! Oh, I'm a commercial pilot myself since 1973. Good luck!

This is the worst put-together piece of junk I just want to say to the developers: WHY?!??!!?!? Seriously I tried to put together this piece of crap and ended up getting a paper Trashball made of pure anger? if you are as gullible as me to use this stuff, than good luck, you NEED IT!!!! ??

So app part. So hard to control. Why not a joystick type touch control. As soon as iphone tilt the tiniest amount full rudder. To get it to stay at neutral is nearly impossible. You must be completely level. It’s Frustrating. Plane. So it does fly. It handles crashes well. Which is constant. Thats pretty cool. But it is incredibly hard to control. You need a lot of space to fly it.

The top menu is too high and gets covered by the black notch. Also not sure if tilting the phone is the best way to control direction. Though I would need more time with it.
Broken app

App won't let me past the 2nd set of training pre-flight checks. Clicking on box 1 and 2 auto checks box 7 and 8 meaning I can't check more than 6/8 boxes and app won't let me advance.
No audio in app

App forces you to review a bunch of helpful training videos, but there is no audio during playback on my iPhone X. So much for training.

Lots of haters but thing is awesome! I have had 4 3.0s one FPV and one dart. All work great. If you get the 3.0 before the dart as the dart requires quicker reflexes. Thanks Shai. Let me know next time you need a beta tester. I tried Depron foam instead of paper easier to fly maintains shape and doesnt turn into a paper blob when it gets wet.
