Incredible, Awesome & Amazing Calculator!

Tansey214

I'm a college student and I use my iPad for everything school related (papers, notes, research...like I said, everything!) so you can imagine my disappointment when I realized my brand new iPad didn't have a built in calculator like my iPhone does. For months now, I've been searching for, and trying out, the many calculator apps on the App Store. None of them were really worth it and I was about to give up and just buy a calculator from Target when I came across a website that recommended this calculator app. I figured I'd give one more calc app a shot before totally giving up and I must say, I'm so glad I did. The PowerOne Scientific & Graphing Calculator app is exactly what I've been looking for. I freaking LOVE this calc app! Aside from all of the amazing features and abilities, it's also universal so I'll definitely be replacing the built-in calc app on my iPhone with this one. To the developer: thank you SO MUCH for creating this amazing, wonderful, and all around awesome app! This is definitely $4.99 well spent.

Best scientific calc app

Was looking for an app to replicate my favorite calculator ever TI-85 and this was the best so far. Still have the physical calculator but this works for most calcs.

Perfect

Couldn't be happier. It is very well thought out. The large keys with switchable screens make mistakes very rare. The landscape mode saves key strokes by putting more keys on the same screen while keeping the keys fairly large. Programmability is very useful and easy to use. Highly recommended. The developers are very responsive.

Been using Infinity powerOne SW for years but this is by far the best yet. It is amazing how many types of templates this version supports. There is literally something for everyone within the template selection.

AMAZING

I LOVE this calculator. It does everything I need it to do. I have programmed numerous templates that I use everyday for complex repetitive calculations. The programming language is simple and the template library has great stuff in it as well. Worth every cent. Update: Still great and keeps improving. I am continually finding new ways to use this app and make my jobs easier. Submit those templates people! It helps everyone.

Excellent

The is the ultimate Scientific Calculator. The only thing I would like is to see added in the ability to my blue tooth keyboard.

Excellent calculator

I have been a fan of RPN programmable calculators ever since the appearance of the Hewlett Packard HP-35. Have had many variants since then. PowerOne SE is a real step forward in every way. I like the overall layout, the display format, and the ease with which templates can be constructed. Is there room for improvement? ALWAYS! Is the need for improvement obvious in the case of P1SE? Not that I can see. Fantastic job, all.

THE BEST calculator I've ever tried

Somosa-Dosa

I do a lot with numbers, and I've been using calculators since they first came out in the 60's. I've got degrees in Math, computer science, and physics. I've helped build training systems so that new mission controllers could learn to fly their satellites. Over the decades I've made it a point to buy the best calculators I could find, and I've tried dozens, always looking for something better. I've owned or used calculators from Sharp, TI, HP, Casio and others. This is THE BEST calculator I've ever tried, not only because it's great on its own, but especially because it's so quickly adapted to help me do what I need. For example, a single line equation: Adjacent/Hypotenuse = cos(Angle) turns instantly into an easy-to-use template for finding any of these three variables when the other two are known. Others have raved about its RPN mode; but I love how it lets me type in equations, and review & correct them in case I've made a typo, or want to do a series of long but similar calculations without having to type in everything from scratch every time. There are many other calculators that can do these kinds of things, but this is the only one I'm aware of that is so easily and powerfully extensible. If this only existed as a hardware calculator, it would be worth it to me to pay many times this price, and tote it around. But this runs on my iPad, which makes it so much easier to have near me when I need it. My hat's off to the developer for an awesome job! A few minor wishes: 1) I wish I had a compatible version for my Mac, and could exchange templates via USB. 2) Bluetooth keyboard support is there while writing templates, but not there when using them. This is not unreasonable, but still I wish it was there all the time. 3) I wish someone had told me about this App when it first came out!

By far the most innovative and complete Calculator ever. Thanks for the wisdom of this app.
