Form as many words from the given set of jumbled letters in each round. Your score is carried forward until you are unable to form the longest word within a round.

Note: In case you face problems installing and / or starting the game the first time, then it is recommended that you delete the previous game version from your device and then re-instal the game.

Simple and elegant!

You'll pick up the basics very quickly and thoroughly enjoy this game. My favorite feature: the game saves automatically so that the next time you play, you can pick up from where you left off.
My favorite word game so far

This gets five stars even though it keeps crashing and throwing me out of the program at the end of every fifth or sixth round. When this happens my progress is lost, and it's very frustrating. I'm running 4.1---is this an issue with that? Also I'd love an option to continue coming up with words after the timer runs out---or to run without timer on occasion. I'm fine with my score ending when I don't come up with the six-letter word, but I'd still like to try to come up with the words on my own. I have no problem with the ads; but, if you fix the bug and give me some control of the timer, I will purchase the full version anyway. P.S. Is there any way to turn up the sensitivity of the letter tiles? I find myself sometimes needing three or four tries at it before the letters I type register. At the very least, a way to remove just the last letter typed would be cool.

Pow-Word has been stable and elegant in my testing. It's fun with passable graphics and decent sound feedback. The high score implementation is great. The problem comes from the wordlist. Although these words may "officially" be admissible, they're nothing more than gobbledygook to 99.9% of the population. This leads to a bunch of guessing about letter combinations. (Anyone who argues that point is either a linguist or has an obsessive-compulsive relationship with word games. ;) Overall, a fun and stable app. Nonetheless, having more control over the wordlists would be a nice addition.

I love the idea of this app, it's fun and makes my brain think! My only issue is the word lists!!! I lookup a word I miss and it doesn't exist, it's very frustrating that I have to just guess at letter combinations for random nothing in the end. Would be my FAV if they could fix that issue! Overall a lot of fun.
WHY NO MUTE OPTION?

Nobody wants to mess up their phone's volume levels just to play a game. Especially for a game requiring thought, silence is golden. How difficult can it possibly be to add sound controls in the game? I'm deleting this app. Its a shame because i like the relaxation of games without a time limit. But, The sounds for this game are extremely annoying and totally unnecessary. If you update and add mute option I will definitely reinstall and rate five stars. UPDATE ONE WEEK LATER Oops, my bad. This developer is terrific. I thought there was no mute option and sent an email. I got a very nice prompt reply from him telling me where it was located (in my defense, it was really tiny way on the upper right of game screen instead of in the options menu :) I love this game not only due to that. There is also an option for untimed play which I like for relaxing. Also the option for seven letters was just added. There are lots of anagram-type games out there but this one is the most flexible. Kudos to a very thoughtful and attentive developer. Thank you. Your efforts are truly appreciated and I wish you much success.

The letters don't fall back in the order put up on the board, there's no button to put up the previous word so it can be added onto, some words aren't in their dictionary so the board won't accept it, and you have to click on a letter to remove it so you have to move your hands away from the buttons at the bottom, the keyboard is too slow in accepting letters; all this wastes time. Everything needs to be streamlined. This version is not ready for prime time.
