The app does not update daily with the published stories. I am still being shown content from 4 days ago. It’s frustrating to pay for an online subscription but not have the latest content.

The app will not work it keeps freezing. I noticed the uptick in the freezing ever since the new ads started showing up.

Too many editorial and opinion pieces. Very little relevant news of substance. The app is also over loaded with “sponsor” articles with same font titles as regular articles in an attempt to trick via click bait the reader in viewing the “sponsored” content. Save your money.

Used to be a decent app, but now it keeps asking you to log in to read a story? Probably the worst app I have ever encountered. The designers should be brought up on charges.

This was a great app that I used daily until they started requiring some sort of subscription. Now it is useless. You can get the same information by just going to their mobile website in Safari, it's just clunky and was much cleaner in the app. In my opinion this was a big mistake that reflects poorly on P&C. I get it, but I doubt that shutting people out of the app is going to translate to a lot of digital subscriptions. I am just no longer a loyal reader, too bad.

Two stars instead of one because like others I used to use it and liked it. Sat right next to my other news apps and was my source of local news. Now that it requires a login, unlike other news apps, it's being deleted, with a scowl on my face to go along with it. Poor decision P&C, IMHO.

News portion works but is rarely updated. Obits and traffic won't load. P&C is dedicated to its print side only. If you need an app to take up space and provide little and outdated service this one's for you.

Probably the worst newspaper app, ever. Full of stale news and impossible to find sections like, letters to the editor, home and garden. Why would any sane designer pattern an app after the much maligned windows 8 fiasco? Screen is full of large icons only 6 to a page, but worst of all is the content. Hello! Run a top news article for one day, not weeks on end. I'm forced to use their Charleston net page that is painfully slow, but at least has all the content and doesn't recycle stories for days on end. From the lack of reviews, I suspect I may have been the only person to try it.
