A gallery guide to an exhibition Feast and Famine: The Pleasures and Politics of Food exploring the topic of daily sustenance over the ages through graphic works on paper. With 66 works of art from various artists ranging from Camille Pissaro and Käthe Kollwitz to Pablo Picasso and Andy Warhol.
This exhibition is organized by the Portland Art Museum and curated by Mary Weaver Chapin, Ph.D., Curator of Graphic Arts; it is supported in part by the Vivian and Gordon Gilkey Endowment for Graphic Arts and the Exhibition Series Sponsors.
