Amazing experience using this app for the first time in Barcelona. Found places that I wouldn’t have discovered on google searches and ended up going to a few spots more than once. Curated for travelers that are particular about what they eat, see, listen, and feel when they’re on vacation.

This app promises to be many things but fails to deliver on any of them. Staying at the Slate in Phuket, all questions directed via this app to the concierge went unanswered. Functionality is limited and there’s nothing special here. Move along. Don’t waste your time.

It’s an idea, I guess. Have a splashy travel mag presentation to sell hotel rooms. But only 3 hotels in Copenhagen? Only a handful of cities around the world? And the bugs... I’m locked out of my account because I forgot the password. The “forgot password” form doubles each character you type, making it impossible to use. How do you miss such an obvious bug? By not at testing at all is the only way I can imagine. Not even worth the effort to try out. Fail.

Great app for foodies and culture junkies - really gives you a flavor of the places around where you’re staying and allows you tap into the local hotspots! Nothing about this app is generic, see you never TripAdvisor!!!

Photos and venues are incredible. So much better then reading a million ‘guides’ that only send you to the tourist traps.
On-Brand for “cool” travelers

I used Porter & Sail for the first time on a trip to Bali while staying at Katamama and was very impressed. They gave me amazing dining and drinking recommendations beyond my normal go-to resources and I even received push notifications when I was in the vicinity of a cool ceramic shop and a lunch spot on the way up to Ubud, so of course I had to pull over to check them out. I was not let down. The UX / UI is very clean and easy to use. I noticed in the latest version they opened up all of their content without having to be in a stay with one of their parter hotels to check out all the best spots in their cities - very excited about that to help me plan upcoming trips to Paris and London! Thanks, Porter & Sail! You definitely have a committed user here.
