I like to know what’s going on around me so I turn on this scanner while I scroll through social media. I have it on with the volume low as I go to sleep. It helps me not to overthink stuff that keeps me up! I use it every day!

I’ve used this app for a few years and it works. I listen to local Police (local and state) Fire, EMT, and Emergency Management. Also listen to NYC services. During major storm events this app keeps me abreast about whats happening in cities and states where my loved ones reside. I highly recommend the app!

Ads are overwhelming

I get there needs to be ads to support it, but when the ads are so often it feels like it’s an ad machine with breaks of scanner chatter
Why did I upgrade?

Tried the free version. It was ok. I like the radio. Upgraded to the pro, but it won’t stay running in the background. And there’s still a 15-30second period before it connects. (The time it would take to listen to a commercial).
