Yes-I can hear my local law-enforcement agencies but it is interrupted FREQUENTLY by ads, which cuts off the feed. It also cuts off of the phone falls asleep. If you like ads this app is for you

"Free App"? Scanner stops every 15 to 30 seconds with an ad wanting you to purchase full version. Ridiculous

This is an awesome app. It keeps me informed on what's going on in my neighborhood. It makes it better when informing the pubic or media on breaking news, this a must app to have.

Use it all the time to see why helicopters are flying around
