How social goes on vacation

An amazing way for family and friends to follow you on a trip. We used it while traveling in Thailand on a church trip with teens. The families were able to follow each step of the way with photos at each location. After that experience we started using it for personal travel, grandmas love the pics of the kids in cool places. Let’s us record work trips my spouse can follow. Cons: Automatic tracking is annoying. Adds points in incorrect locations and way to many of them. Turn this off and add your own manually. Also the app is a bit slow getting gps, off line post could be better.

Useful, memorable

Three trips so far recorded on this app. Can update with new text or photos, keep track of your location, and at the end you have the option to create a beautiful book of your travel. Can't recommend this app highly enough, my extended family and I are all members so we can keep track of each other. Love hearing about trips in everyone's voices. Very motivating to keep track of your travels.

A good one for frequent travellors

I have been using it for the last three years, pretty good

What happened??

Flubbles flobbles

I lost the ability to log a specific location as a step. I can search for a step but then it puts something generic in the step description.

Have to add photos individually to trip step

There’s no option to “select all photos” when adding a step to a trip. You have to select photos one by one and when there are a lot of photos for a step it takes a long time. Other than that the app is really good. I would give it five stars if they would add that one simple feature

Exactly what my roadtrip needed!!

Absolutely awesome, and very easy to use!!

Great idea but just a good app

Impressed by the idea and endless possibilities this app can do! But would love the app even more if the bugs are fixed. Right now i dont think the images are getting rendered well when i add a step in the trip.

Missing PDF export

There is the option to print out your travel diary in a book from (for a fee), but I’m not much of a paper/book type of person. I’d prefer a pdf print version which, as far as I know, isn’t possible. Other than that the app is great. It’s easy to add stories, photos, etc. but make sure you do it on the sport or at least create and empty log to fill in later. Creating a log after the fact is too complicated if you can get it done at all. Except for these little foibles I’m very happy with the features, layout, functionality, etc.

Brilliant so far!

What a great concept, and an incredible way to document your travels. I plan on doing a big adventure trip in every continent and Polar Steps will be with every step of the way :) I have yet to order my first book but have heard from others that they are amazing quality. The prices are very good.

Need a means to log flight and travel information, then I would be inclined to like it more.
