Almost impossible to beat the computer!

wrobbiehill

I was excited about an offline poker game but I am disappointed in this game. I spent hours paying the same computer avatar no matter what if I raise they folded and they always check no matter what it’s alway a check and then goes all in. Almost every time I would have the best hand and the computer would know that the river card would be take the pot of it it was the flop. I’ve never seen the “luck” that this game gives to the computer in my life playing online poker. Don’t waste your time on this game like I did.

Rigged in every way

The farther you go the worse it gets. Opponents are drawing dead and consistently hit the river. The game is rigged and meant to frustrate you to get you to buy currency. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy any hold em game on a mobile device unless you just want to play a few hands here and there.

Barely tolerable

DJ J Dot

This isn’t the worst poker game out there (one extra star for offline play) but like most of the others, its insistent dependence on forcing you towards in-app purchases make the game mechanics vastly less realistic than live opponents. We are clearly light years away from a free or cheap offline app that even vaguely resembles an actual poker game, ironically because of capitalism, but this game was tolerable for longer than the others, and I’ve played most of them. It’s still a disheartening farce, and a grotesque insult to a beautiful game.

Cheating

Just left a match for a gold trophy at Dallas and the win was awarded to a strait 7 thru jack while I was holding a strait 9 thru king and lost the match. Game is gone as this has happened 5 or six times

Just learned

A beautiful money pit

nabneumeier

I love almost everything about this game. It’s very well put together and easy to use, plus the side challenges are entertaining. What I don’t like is that the AI is always the luckiest SOB on the planet. The further along you get, the longer your unlucky streak gets, which is frustrating. I won a tournament off of bluffing and only had two hands that would’ve legit won in all the rounds combined. It is really geared towards having you spend money, which is fine if the creator would let you replay locations you’ve already won, but you can’t. I just uninstall and reinstall when I get to the point where I have to actually pay for chips with no chance of winning that money back. Overall it’s a good app.

Don’t waste your money

This games only purpose is to make the developers money and they will force you to pay to continue. The computer knows what cards you have and what will be dealt to the point of going all-in preflop and making you waste your chips. Tickets are not awarded with enough frequency and you are forced to pay to play. Even if you pay to gain more chips or tickets, the games chemistry will not and will force you back into a corner. I like the art and style of the game, but cannot get past the forced microtransactions. Deleting.
