This is good for young fans but just why make a game about the only region people don't like

Pretty good, but not great

NickKennedyLucario

I really love what this game is so far. It's great for little kids to get into Pokémon and learn their names, types and what the general feel of the game is like. I can see this being a great teaching tool and really fun for parents and their kids, cause everyone loves Pokémon! The animation for the most part is really stellar, but the design of the main character was clearly ripped off from Timmy Turner! Butch Hartman should sue, cause he makes apps too, and his kids app, Noog Network, is probably just as good as this one, probably even better! I also was disappointed with the HUGE LACK OF POKEMOM VARIETY. This is WITHOUT A DOUBT the biggest problem with the app. There are only about 54 Pokémon total. FIFTY FOUR! This completely contradicts the games idea of being an introduction to Pokémon, not to mention the game has tons of completely weird picks. You would think that because they have so few slots, they would stick with the most iconic and cutest Pokémon. But what they really did was try to force a ton of new Pokémon on us. Practically all the Pokémon are from Sun and Moon. The only Pokémon from other generations are a couple starters. Where's Lucario? Or Riolu for that matter? They're iconic and most people find them adorable. What about Zoroark or his unevolved form? Why are generic filler Pokémon from Sun and Moon like Grubbin or Pyukumku here and tons of iconic Pokémon didn't make the cut? I'm sorry if you're offended by my opinions on Sun and Moons Pokémon, but seriously, have you ever met a hardcore Pyukumku fan? HE HAS A BUTTHOLE FOR A FACE? What is he doing here? For now this game is not more than average but I appreciate the effort and I don't want to discover more Pokémon games coming our way.

Needs More Pikachu!

Kumin Tsuyuri

22 year old uncle here! I grew up with Pokémon, and never would have dreamed that my nieces would too. Us older fans tend to complain about the Pikachu saturation in the bigger games. But in a game like this, we definitely need more of him. He's the mascot who will grab some young children into playing a game like this in the first place , and the one they'll recognize in toy aisles, cartoons, and other $ale opportunities. Have Pikachu as a possibility in every minigame, a higher chance for Pikachu to be in the hub, and a Petting Pikachu minigame are all possibilities. Another thing I'd recommend changing is making names simpler. "Alolan Sandshrew" is too hard. Just teach it as "Sandshrew." Same for "Zygarde" instead of "Zygarde Core." And don't have "Pecha Berries" in stories. Just call them Berries. Or else you'll confuse children that Pecha Berries are a real type of berry. They're still learning words, after all! Finally, it'd be nice if we could permanently sort our playground Pokémon so our favorite Pokemon are on the front of the list. I'm only telling suggestions here than praise because this game is so good, that everything praiseworthy is clear. :)
