Everytime you open up the app you are greeted with a 20 second ad that takes up the entire screen, not only is this annoying but you will also have a ad right in the middle of the screen when you are using the ruler

Update with Ads is horrendous. I open the app cause I need a ruler, and I have to sit through Ads before it even displays anything. Don't bother downloading. Really let down by this app developer. Not a smart business mover based on all the other complaints on here too.

It was great in earlier versions but now it's covered in ads and it costs 10 dollars to remove them? fauk u mean

I rarely spend my time to write reviews, unless there's a really good reason to do it, and this app has a very good reason to deserve a very bad review: it crosses the line of what should be considered acceptable advertising. I tolerate well small ads in ad supported apps, but this one makes you view a 20 seconds video when you just need to take a 2 second measurement??? No way, this is totally unacceptable. Previous version didn't do this stupidity, so I promptly deleted it and found another ruler app that doesn't do this crap. I hope this well deserved review increases the number of reviews here so it shows the bad rating up front in order to inform users so they don't waste their time installing this crapware, not to say malware.
The ads are just disgusting

I've never seen an app with so many ads! You have to spend half a minute watching ads for just opening the app!

My god this app is awful. To get into the app, which is just a ruler with zero settings or flip capibility, one must sit through a 7 second ad, then another unskippable ad. Then while using it there is a gigantic obtrusive ad in the middle, and then if you use it too long another unskippable ad pops up. Disgusting ploy for money alone!
