Gold Keeps Disappearing!

I’ve been playing this game and their other game (Office Space) for a while now and never had any major issues but for the last couple weeks every other time I log in my gold gets reset to zero! The worst thing is it’s not exclusive to this game but BOTH their games! I could see if this only happened once or twice but it has happened at least 5 times in the last two weeks! Unacceptable!
Fun but the sexism has to stop!

I’ve been playing this on and off on multiple devices for a long time and while I love the satirical perspective on the political figure heads I have noticed situations of sexism. The one that has me writing my first review of this game is the current Memorial Day event. The US ARMY BERET and the REMEMBRANCE POPPY Women are good to fight and die for this country but from your perspective they can’t wear the berets? The female characters are only allowed the Remembrance Poppy while only the Male characters receive the ability to EQUIP the berets. Why the differentiation? If anything pick an item that makes more sense because service women wear headpieces as a requirement for their wardrobe. To put that as a MALE ONLY is ridiculous, ESPECIALLY when you take that away and give us flowers. Please try to be less obvious in your personal outlook that women are automatically associated with flowers puppies and kittens next time you sit down to plan your next event. Which admittedly I will end up playing because it’s a fun game. Also it’s interesting that the Beret is an item that you will get more often. While the Remembrance Poppy is noticeably less common. So for those of us that play as a female are getting a little screwed. The male character will inevitably progress faste, virtual glass ceilings are just sad...You force us (females) to either watch you steal our SLOWLY collected poppies by feeding them into the COMMON item which happens to be a MALE ONLY item OR we have to play as an non-relatable character that for me is a ugly reminder that in this world if you want to advance or be given more opportunities you must be a male. Not in 2019, not anymore, so PLEASE think from an alternative perspective enough to see the bigger picture. If need be find your most ball busting female friend and just run it by her before you settle for the unanimous upvotes of your male colleagues. If it just one person the again see your ball busting female friend. By the way, I’m happy to give 5 stars as soon as I see a broader perspective from you in future events...Thank you

This is a review for right now. The game has been fun and a good waste of idle time but it’s crashing every time I get in today. No updates to install or anything.
AVOID CLOUD SAVE...

I downloaded Pocket Politics (because my only option with politics these days is to make fun of politicians) — HOWEVER, the opening screen says “logging in to cloud save” — THEREFORE, as a matter of principle, I will be DELETING this in just a few seconds — These days, there’s way too much personal information “on the cloud” — to quote Shakespeare, “A pox on BOTH your houses” (big government and big business).

Playing this game for too long will destroy your battery percentage. I felt my phone heating up so i checked my battery settings and in a grand total of 1 hour and 23 minutes played (consecutively) my battery dropped 43%. It gets repetitive, just as all idle games do, but compared to my hour on youtube watching videos, where after 1 hour and 35 minutes I only lost 26%, it is bad for your battery.

The app itself is fun and very interesting. Although every time I want to log back into the game, it takes up to 5 minutes to load. Saying that, overall this app deserves a 4 star.
