Fun but annoying

Cattwood

Really fun game, but the payment/add system is insane. Watch an add after every 3-6 minute puzzle gets annoying quick.

Bad impression of a good game

I absolutely hate this financial model. I suppose developers make a lot of money with it, but they should realize it pisses off those of us who would be quite willing to pay 3 or 5 bucks for the whole game (which is quite good). You are losing our business with this kind of perpetual fee-to-pay.

Disappointing

The game itself is great, and I didn’t mind the old structure where I had to watch an ad every three games. Now that it costs 3 tickets per game, the game has lost its appeal. I defeated the app and will not be playing anymore. If the pricing model switches to one where I can pay once and play forever, I would pay and play. With the current model, it’s not worth the subscription rate and I won’t watch an ad for every puzzle. I’m glad I didn’t buy any tickets, because the switch was a pretty crappy move. The developers owe those who bought tickets a 3-1 exchange.

Amazing game, poor business model

The puzzles are great and I loved playing them. I didn't even mind paying for packs of 100 tickets. It was my way of supporting the developer and expressing how much I value the application they developed. The recent update to "improve" tickets has dramatically decreased the value of tickets (every level requires up to 3 tickets, depending on the difficulty you choose, instead of 1 like it used to), while only lowering the price of tickets by 25%. This is a slap to the face for anyone owning old tickets, and further proof that they want you on their silly subscription service more than anything. Definitely not an improvement!

A Free Game That Isn’t Really Free

After playing a few game I thought that the game fun. However I soon noticed that the game only allowed you to play the game a few times before you either had to pay or watch an ad. It wasn’t even a cool off time where in a few hours you get to play some more, it just ended. However much I like the concept of the game the limited amount of replay-ability truly makes the game not worth playing and I would advise playing another puzzle game if that is what you are seeking. Maybe one that actually lets you play the game.

Pay for game and then have to pay to play????

dntjmk

I paid for the game and then on top of that I have to pay to play or watch ads??? That is not a business model that I can subscribe to. If I buy the game even for only a couple dollars, I should not be restricted in my play by needing to purchase tickets.

End of level key?

I love this game. But I cannot figure out what all the scores and symbols at the end of a level mean.

Better than Sudoku/Kakuro

Difficulty Level 6 + Expert Mode is the way to go. Thought the puzzles might be getting impossible with max difficulty, but you just gotta learn the tricks. Felt awesome going back to raise my level for puzzles I did before learning how to win every time (so far)! A one-time purchase would be great, but the current ticket system totally works for me. Also would be cool to have the ability to turn off the timer and move counter. Everything else about the game is so chill, it should let me have my "zen mode" while playing the actual puzzle. (Btw, the timer might loop back to zero after 60 min...? I had a bit of a struggle, lol.) Love the visuals, but my one minor gripe would be that the theme feels kinda scattered. Selection screen backgrounds are cool, but the layout of the puzzle buttons feels arbitrary (can't help thinking they're mailboxes connected by pipes...?). Also kinda weird that the puzzles are suddenly themed to look like notebook paper -- though, incidentally, I love the paper-tearing sequence at the end. Also, great SFX throughout. Anyway, awesome stuff!!! Love this game!!!

Very addictive game

Great game! Very addictive!

Fun but expensive

The game itself is great, but for some reason they mete out two games worth of tickets per day. I bought a pack of tickets for a few bucks and used them up quickly. Having spent that money should have unlocked limitless play.
