Great App. Very useful info for making Family movie watching selections

Bring game reviews back plz

Ironben9

I really like the app, but the game section hasn't been updated in a year, even though game reviews are added on the site all the time. Please fix, this is the main reason I use the app.

Problems

GenretheBoss

Great reviews. Unfortunately there's a lot of problems. The search function needs fixed. Also, there hasn't been a video game review since 2015 even though they are updated on the website. Bugs sometimes make the app unusable.

Nice concept, poor execution

Piratemommy

The app is a nice idea and looks nice. But it's very slow to load sometimes. It also crashes. It has a very limited database of movies too. When I'm at a kiosk or home wanting to check a movie before renting or watching, I expect a site like this to have it. But it doesn't have even fairly recent movies that are available at Redbox or other places. I need an extensive database of movies and a speedy app.

Lol

Game review name

You can tell the reviewers here are full of sh*t when a movie that has 90% rating all around gets a 1/5 from these guys only.

Good source for movie review

Jojee280

Detailed and descriptive enough to let me know if I'd want to watch a movie with my family or not.

Thank you!!!!

As a Christian, I needed this ??

Wish it included book reviews

Pnksmom

I use Pluggedin.com to check book reviews for my children. Wish the app included that too. We read a lot more than we watch movies!

I just deleted it.

I'm a follower of Jesus and try to filter most all my kids' media. Though this app was super helpful when my kids were really little, the app gets far less useful once kids are past elementary age. The reviews aim to protect kids, not equip parents (hence the outgrowing as kids age), unlike The Common Sense Media app, which is just so much more useful, and you don't have to wade through the feeling that you're in a church you don't like.

The app is not as good as the website

Lawson Moore

The visual red light, green light and yellow light "Content Caution" for kids, teens and adults is not on the app. For me that was the quick filter for whether or not to even consider a movie. Without that on the app I find myself reading the entire article to get a pulse for something that was easily a red light for kids. with that one addition this would easily be a five star app.
