When I got it I thought you could build it but it would not work it was really bad all I did was place houses.don't get it

All we wanted to do is create different room settings and there was no way to access different backgrounds! Where is the 4 room elevation that is shown in the preview? We paid $3 for nothing! What a rip off - very sad little person over here.
