Terrible Functionality

The app skips ahead and backwards while watching recorded shows using the DVR feature and chromecast. This is very annoying and hasn’t been fixed since I’ve had it (1 year now), along with randomly stopping the playback and closing out of the current show.

I decided to switch to streaming my TV and read what all the different services offered. What I didn’t check was if they worked. I use PS Vue with my iPhone, iPad and Chromecast. As far as just streaming live TV I have had zero issues. I started with DTN but after the Mid-May update it quit working, constant buffering, disconnect. I wanted to use Sling due to price but it constantly buffered. I have only tried the PS DVR once, and tried watching a movie once and both were a disaster. My advice is to use the free trials before you buy.

Yes Vue can be a little quirky at times with Amazon fire 4k. I have almost no problems with PS4, iPhone, or laptops. Honestly I went from $200 plus per month with Spectrum to $44 for 100 MBS internet and $50 for Vue. For $1200 plus savings per year I can do quirky. Make a Samsung TV app and I can throw out some 5star ratings.

Love the service. I barely ever use my iPad to watch. Today I’m on a trip and have some time to catch up on some shows. The app says I’ve been away from home too long (I was there just 4 hours ago) and demands that I log in at home before it will work anywhere else. But if I jump on ANY computer it works just fine. Seriously, this along with the price increase is going to lead me to cancel. Stupid restrictions. Also, Vue support is terrible. They don’t care if you subscribe or not. In their email about the price increase they tell you how to cancel if you don’t like the new price. They aren’t very smart, and don’t actually care about keeping subscribers.

This would be a good service but it has constant buffering issues, shows will sometimes just stop and say “thanks for watching” (sort of a crash). Service need more stability
Can’t Get Past Startup *

Says it can’t connect and crashes immediately. If it makes any difference, I’m on iPhone X, ios 11.4 Edit: My adblocker app interfered with Vue. It plays fine now. The interface needs work but so far it seems to play fine.

App constantly crashes keeps saying thanks for watching but it doesn’t let me watch anything. Chrome cast and roku. Constantly buffering
Casting is more miss than hit

Every time I try to cast to my Chromecast it says thanks for viewing and won’t stream. So frustrating!!
