I am using this to teach myself how to play the violin. ( 2 weeks in). I like that it is a bit of a stickler on the notes so that I learn my fingering correctly —although it lets my squeaks and minor double string imperfections slide ( for now at least!). I paid 4.99 for 110 more songs and am impressed with the variety— I will have plenty to work on for a long time. I also like the interpretations. Even the easy beginner songs hold promise of sounding great. Would be nice to be able to take a photo of a piece of music and have it guide me as well in my own selection.

This is exactly what I was looking for, something that can make my practice fun and help me memorize note locations and readings at the same time. Sometimes if two of the same note are right next to each other it will think I played both instead of just one, but I thought it was really cool that it could tell which octave of a note I was using. I also liked that you can go at your own pace, so you can take a song really slowly if you're new to it.

Very easy for beginners like me as of now. I would be in the advanced level soon with this software

I downloaded this app thinking it would have like ten songs but it only had 5 free songs. The rest of the 105 song you had to pay money for it. I really want something that is free and shows a lot of songs. Please add more free songs to this violin app.
