I got this for a student who struggles with reading sheet music and was immediately disappointed. The easiest level contains accidentials and the notes are all over the place (setting someone up for failure AND making the “melodies” incredibly unpleasant to play). Further, by having the notes all over the place, it’s not useful for learning to read the way a good musician does—by intervals not note names.

If you don't already know how to play piano don't by this app. That being said the aol does work well over all.

Testes this for an adult friend who wants to learn to read music. I've played piano for years and could not figure out how to make it work. It isn't at all intuitive.

I've been playing Piano and Guitar for years, but music notes have always been a big problem for me. This puts it all together. SightRead is another really good note program but the way the Notes and Keyboard are laid out on this app are just right.

I like this app. It is worth the money. It has helped me a lot with reading music. I would like to see intervals and key signatures included. But it still is a great tool.
