About the movie:

Play On traces the path of redemption for a failed Scottish rugby star who leaves his country and the shadow of his amateur era rugby legend father, to seek fame and fortune as Gridiron kicker. After his failed attempt leaves him penniless and homeless in Kansas City, he finds redemption through an unlikely motley crew of social weekend warriors who take him in. While playing at the lowest level of rugby he finds the true meaning of teamwork, loyalty and courage. This journey takes him back to his homeland where he once again has to choose between his ideals or those of his father.
