P v. Z was a great game. You bought it and you played it. It was simple and cute but challenging. This 21st century version, like far too many products of the 21st century, is a neat game wrapped in pounds and pounds of pay bait and annoying advertisements. The game dangles events in front of you that are way above your garden’s pay grade in order to get you to spend coins. Irritating and often frustrating.
Ruined a great game

The addition of micro transaction to this game have ruined it. It’s “play-to-win” philosophy have made it impossible to advance without extended financial investment. Really takes the strategic play out of the mix.
Fun game until......

I was playing this game everyday because it’s a great game,it was challenging on most levels, but when the game stopped letting me get free coins and gems through watching ads, I lost interest because everyone can’t buy coins, so I would watch free ads to get coins to help with the levels. What it started doing was when I go to the free coins to watch ads it would be a blank screen with the music but no ad and no coins, so I contacted the company via email no response. I just uninstalled the whole game with frustration and probably won’t download it again!

In-app purchases are ridiculously over priced, and it's near impossible to finish the game without them. You can earn coins & gems (which you need) my watching ads but they frequently get hung up or crash the game. You also have to watch a huge number to earn enough coins, and even more to earn the gems.
To many ads and lags

It lags when you open menus and try to place plants. The long ads are annoying. The premium content is outrageous. Who wants to pay $50 to get all the plants?
Bug issue

Had to lower stars due to bug issue. I purchased the bomagrant and I can't pull it over to my iPad. I originally got it on my iPhone but now I can't get it over to my pad. Also the plant will not take plant food and it appeared in my zen garden. Please either give me a refund on the bomagrant or fix the bug to allow me to recover my purchases and bring it to my iPad.

I really like this game but I think pop so needs to bring more of their games from pc. I used play their games all the time lol the aquarium one, that one was literally the best. I think popcap should bring their website games here.

Been playing forever and wish they would redo the roof levels from the 1st edition but since I have the different versions on my computer, Xbox and phone, I am always in PVZ heaven!!

The game is very good except for one problem. Sometimes in endless mode when you kill all the zombies the coin bag won't appear which means you can't beat the level. This is very frustrating because you can't restart levels in endless. You can only save and quit. NEEDS FIX!
