Not worth it unless you’re willing to spend $20+

I beat the first PVZ in no more than 3 days. I’ve always loved it and redownloaded it to play again. When I beat it I decided to get the sequel. I feel like this game had sooooo much potential but it was ruined by the UNFAIR AND OVERLY DIFFICULT progression process. In the first game it was simple to find a way to beat the level. I only ever lost ONE level and had to redo it. With this game I’ve lost multiple times and every “premium plant” is 4.99 a piece!!!!! I don’t think it’s fair. It seems like the creators got greedy and tried to rob us players which is very disappointing. Another thing is you have to upgrade plants now and the system to get seed packets (basically loot crates) is random and you often get packets for plants you don’t have so it’s difficult to move forward. I beat the first boss but can’t go any further than that becasue my plants aren’t upgraded enough and I’ve already used up my slots for piñatas which only refreshes every 5 hours or more??? ? idk it’s just really disappointing and I can’t enjoy the game like I used to. Not worth it unless you can spend $20 on an app.

Seems designed for iPad or a huge phone. Doesn’t play well in my beloved SE. Too often, I touch a plant and it doesn’t register. I touch it again, and it’s slow to recognize. Then, I’ve touched again, unhighlighting it. Then I carefully touch and hold and wait for the plant to highlight so I can plant it. Then I somehow hit something else on the screen and it unhighlights. I press and hold as the “Zombies are your brains” screen comes up. Uninstalling...

How about some power ups for plants you don’t have to buy

I’ve been trying for months to level up my fire peashooter. Instead all I get is constant leveling for plants that must be bought. It doesn’t matter how many power ups you give me for those, I’m not buying them. Meanwhile, it’s like there’s an outright refusal to provide anything for the one plant I’m trying to level. Day after day I go into the “store” to see if it’s available. Or as a bonus for completing boards. And day after day, it doesn’t happen.

I seriously love this game-- I've beaten every level now I play the quests and the endless games waiting for new worlds.

Love this game enough I've played it nearly everyday for 8 years or so- both 1&2. Do not like the slowness of accomplishments at the end of a level. I don't care about them and resent waiting for them to finish their screen time. Having to tap through the plant power ups when earned is also annoying. Let me turn those features off please. You expect me to pay too much for plants. I'm happy to be able to earn some of them with jewels. I also resent the obvious greed on display when plants are withheld except for money. I like earning them through challenges or jewel collecting. Thank you.

A Masterpiece Yet Again Ruined by EA

Let's cut to the chase first. You pay for plants in the game, in which every one together totals easily over $100. Those plants are "premium plants" and are a lot stronger than normal plants. Each one costs $5 or 100 gems(but that cost $10 if you don't feel like earning them). VERY FEW PREMIUM PLANTS CAN BE BOUGHT WITH GEMS! CLASSIC PVZ CHARACTERS SUCH AS THE CHOMPER, JALAPEÑO, AND SQUASH ARE WERE LOCKED BEHIND THIS PAYWALL! ONLY JALAPEÑO AND SQUASH CAN BE NOW BOUGHT WITH GEMS! New levels were added to expand the game. These levels are very hard and unfair. In order to beat these levels you need strong plants. To get strong plants you either buy premium plants or upgrade normal ones. These upgrades cost lots of coins the more you do them and requires plant-specific seed packets. These packets can be gained, but at a very slow rate. You can buy packs for 100 gems or buy bundles that range in prices but are probably at a minimum of $10. You are only guaranteed to get seed packets from plants of the world the pack corresponds to, but are not guaranteed to get the plant you want. If you don't want to do this, you can instead use your coins and but power-ups to cheese levels. These power-ups burn through your coins and soon you have none left. You can buy coins or spend hours earning them. What I just stated above are all true facts that have existed in this game thanks to EA. There are even a few other examples of greed in the game that I have not mentioned. EA has ruined the series and are trying to milk this game dry, and have been doing so for a long while. I'm sick of this corporate greed ruining everything. This game is very fun to play and has much potential, but PopCap no longer owns PVZ, and has not for years. Everything that is done in this game is directly controlled by EA since PopCap sold out. If you are going to play a PVZ, play the original. If you really want to play this, I beg of you to not spend a penny. Don't feed this abomination that is a company. I refuse to write anything positive about this game since there isn't much positive left in it. It really just is the original PVZ with more plants and zombies, but instead has over $100 of locked content.

He sido fan de este juego por mucho tiempo. Realicé la última actualización en enero, y luego de haber descargado todos los datos, cada vez que inicio el juego este se me congela y se cierra. Eliminaria la app y la volveria a instalar pero la cantidad de datos por descargar es tan grande que preferiria esperar la proxima actualizacion a ver si se resuelve el problema.
