Really good game (a few small complaint)

I started playing the original plants vs zombies the year it came out (when I was a child), and made tons of memories playing it. So I like the fact that the game remained untouched for the most part, and a sequel was made with regular updates, so we could enjoy the simplicity of the first game, and receive new content through the second one. My only complaint is that some og plants from the first game cost real money like snow pea, chomper, imitator, and cactus, but I would love to experience them for free, and so say all the ogs I’ve met. Also more often than not, an unskippable add starts playing after I exit a certain game or menu, and I’m not talking about adds that give you rewards, just random adds.

This app is literally my childhood for a good reason. But, because of the missing music, it’s not really the same. I would LOVE IT if the devs would fix it. Overall, good app.
Needs Apple Arcade version at this point

After years of updates, this game has gotten increasingly unplayable for me and I ended up uninstalling. All they did was just put in more ads, more pay-to-win style gameplay, and less rewards, while also taking away most of the content from Adventure mode like levels and music. They force you to 'play' the glitchy Battlez (now called Arena) mode and awful Penny's Pursuit mode for 6 hours a day to be able to earn the new plants in time, and it's probably gotten even harder since I last checked. I'm not entirely against the leveling up plants feature they added, but I don't like it and it basically just incorporates a lootbox-based pay-to-win system. And they keep reducing the amount of things you get from watching ads so you have to watch more. 90% of the game is bugged at this point, poor Adventure Mode is trashed, Penny's Pursuit and Arena keep crashing, and worst of all, they refuse to put all the music back in the game and then call it a bug. What I really really want is an Apple Arcade version of the game, like PVZ2+ or something. No ads, it'd be a relief if the Arena and Penny's Pursuit modes were gone, FIXED MUSIC, and a playable Adventure mode and easier to obtain premium plants would make it the perfect game and probably lots of people would be happy about it on Apple Arcade. It would also be great if they'd put the original (and I mean ORIGINAL one they took down, not the ruined free version buggy ad-filled one that's there now) PvZ there too, because they made the mobile original unplayable as well. As it stands, I am super disappointed about the direction PvZ2 has gone in and will NEVER buy one of their pricey IAPS like their plants and seed slots, not because I don't like the content, but because I do not want to support the developers' marketing decisions in any way.

Get rid of premium plz like it ruins the entire thing make ‘‘em cost gems or something I don’t care just get rid of real money necessary things. Other than that it’s a great game though. :)

The game itself is fun. But there are 60-90 second unskipable ads after EVERY SINGLE LEVEL! Even going to the menu will force you to watch an ad. This game is literally 60% ads and 40% game. Which is a shame because the game is fun.
