Flawed but worthy

Snaeher

An excellent mental break, although I believe there are errors in some of the puzzles. There are also some brief delays at times that register a click in the wrong square. But I am addicted nonetheless.

Lots of fun!

I love the different colored planets which are fun to uncover. The game is very basic, but I could play for hours.

Flag issue (v1.1)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAvcbcbc

Great game that really changes the way you perceive previous minesweeper variants. Only complaint: double-tapping reveals the cell, even if it's marked with a flag. Numerous times I've screamed after accidently uncovering a cell I'd CLEARLY wanting to avoid it. I'd prefer that, in some future update, that a cell must be un-flagged before it can be revealed.

An Cool Twist on the Classic Game!!

I love this game! Definitely the most interesting take on the minesweeper concept I've ever played. Hexagons and pentagons wrap around globes to form edgeless play maps. The gameplay is equally seamless. The developer further impressed me with his stellar customer service. I contacted him about a previous version to request a feature. I liked playing the game, but felt it needed a mute option. I made few gameplay suggestions as well. He promptly responded to thank me and tell me that the mute option was on its way. A few weeks later the update arrived and he'd addressed everything I'd written about. He even sent me an email to let me know that he'd made the changes I suggested. I'm always thrilled to see developers who are interested in working with users to produce the highest quality program they can. Planet Minesweeper's interesting gameplay caught my attention, but the developer's continued level of engagement in the project won my loyalty as a customer.

Addicting

datamate226

This games is very addictive and the only reason i didn't give it a 5 star is because sometimes its to easy for the computer to reveal a mine when you didn't even touch that space.

Very good game

Very addicting game

Excellent

BinaryMagic

Very addictive and fun to play. 3D feel makes it visually more appealing than the original minesweeper on windows.

Love it But

E1luste

Love, love, love this game but on the large, insane levels...there is no way to win with just logic. Thats not fair!

Commute killer

I don't multitask on the ferry anymore. I'm hooked on Planet Minesweeper!

Almost great, needs some more work

Good: - Visually appealing - Easy to just jump into a game - Globe navigation is smooth and intuitive Bad: - Noticeable delay when placing a flag, even on iPad 3 - Poor first-move logic often leaves guessing as the only option for the second move - have to keep losing and restarting until you get a good starting position - Double-tap to uncover tiles around completed clues is buggy - also uncovers all if the clue is not satisfied! Minesweeper has been done so many times that there's really no reason that any of these issues should be present in a modern incarnation. Fix the gameplay and performance issues and it's easily a five-star app.
