It consists of two parts: Transmitter and Receiver.
* Transmitter converts the low-resolution video (stream from camera, static image or GIF animation) to sound in real time, pixel by pixel (progressive scan). So any image or animation can be transferred to the other devices through the sound.
* Receiver converts the sound (from microphone or Line-in input) back to video. You can set the color palette for this video, and record it to animated GIF file.
Examples of use:
* wireless Lo-Fi video transmission over audio;
* video signal transmission through audio cable; you can then modify that signal by some mixers or audio FX processors;
* VJing;
* sound visualization;
* searching for hidden messages in the ambient noise; EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon), ITC (Instrumental Transcommunication);
* save any sound to animated GIF;
* hide some images and animation in your music;
* something else...

I installed it on two iPhones, and my computer. None of the apps work. No matter how loud/quiet, near/far, no matter the settings on either. All either produce are static and rolling pictures, even using the included animations and static images.

Love this throwback to Silvatone recordings! I hope development continues: I wish the transmitter had a tap tempo functionally so you could sync video to loop once per beat/measure/bar/etc.

I love this app! Great glitchy madness! The only thing I would change would be to have more export options as far as file types are concerned (something I'm sure the developer is aware of). It would be nice to be ale to export creations in a format that I can later load into some type of video editor. Other than that I adore this app, and the creative minds behind it!

Great science experiment. Showing the conversion of light to sound and then back to light. I love how the receiver pics up ambient noises to truly help demonstrate what is happening.
