Love this game but I would like to play with some friends. Is there a way?
1) Online, turn-based multiplayer is a must. Without it this game gets old fast. 2) Not being able to pan the camera out so I can see more/all of the hole at once is super frustrating. This could be a 5 star game with a few tweaks.
I loved the original and was excited to see a sequel. However, there are several things holding Pixel 2 back from getting a better review out of me: 1.) Not being able to zoom out and see the entire hole is ridiculous. Especially with terrain requiring lots of ups and downs. Almost enough to make me put the game down. Can't stand it. 2.) Switching discs is an OK idea but it's cumbersome to do this multiple times on a given hole. Plus there are stats provided for each disc, but nowhere is there an explanation for what these numbers mean. Health? Bounce? I enjoyed the simplistic one-discer nature of the original title. 3.) Wind. ALWAYS. Makes for a really frustrating experience if you find yourself "off the fairway". I swear I have actually played disc golf on a calm day, but not here. Nope. Always gusting. Makes laying up next to impossible sometimes- your disc flips up and gets sailed away. 4.) The "power meter" often blends in with the background making things hard to see. 5.) Too many accidental throws when only trying to scroll sideways. (See #1) 6.) With multiple pros included in the game, you should be able to select which player you use. 7.) You can throw 100% with a driver from point blank and have the shot stick. The original allowed for too aggressive shots to be spit/bounced out.
Crashes every time I play a created course. Super frustrating. Also, why no water hazards?
It's a great concept. But it has a lot of functionality that could be added which would make the game a lot less frustrating. Have you considered a Mulligan system?
Will this app make you a better disc golfer? Absolutely not. Is it even realistic? Nope! However, it is a blast to play. A great update to the original. Play with actual virtual pros. A ton of fun. Even better updates coming according to their Facebook page.
Could be a fantastic game but until you can choose between looking around the course and throwing it's pretty much unplayable, just give us a button and this will be 5 stars.
