I've been addicted to 'paint by numbers' ever since they started appearing in GAMES magazine. I love being able to pull it up on my phone.
More than one solution

This type of puzzle is supposed to have only one unique solution. However, several puzzles have more than one way to solve them, but only one answer is accepted. So, u have to keep trying different solutions until u happen upon the 'right' one.
Great puzzle, needs polish

I can't quit playing this game in spite of some crappy implementation. Some of the pictures appear twice with little or no difference. The names of the puzzles have typos or maybe it's poor translation. For example, when you solve a puzzle and it tells you what the image is, several appear as "unknow". The scrolling is horrible since you touch to scroll and your touch accidentally fills in squares on the board. If these things were fixed, it would be worth money. And the ads at the bottom are really awful, I keep hitting them by accident. You need that screen space!
I love Picross, but...

The game is fun for a while and the color puzzles are a really nice idea, but the interface is just so clunky, it becomes unplayable sometimes. Particularly on any puzzle taller or wider than 10 blocks, where scrolling is required. Not to mention the bad translations/spellings, repeated puzzles, etc. mentioned by other reviewers. I've also done puzzles where entire lines are unused; they're just there to take up space and force me to scroll. Maybe make the grid take up more of the screen so you don't have to scroll over when doing puzzles? If this stuff gets fixed, the app would definitely be worth a purchase. Until then, I'm sticking with Picross 3D.

I was excited when I found this app because I have books with the same concept but was incredibly disappointed. The boxes are too small and when you tap them most of the time it doesn't register or it clicks multiple boxes. I don't want to have to zoom in a bunch to click a box. When you have to scroll on some of the puzzles all the boxes start highlighting or erase. Plus they give you stars on your performance you'll be even lucky to get one star with how poorly they set up the game.
