PinPal keeps track of both open bowling games as well as leagues, allowing bowlers to view their average and other statistics by league, or overall.
While more statistics are planned for the future, currently PinPal keeps track of your strike, spare, and open frame percentages. Additionally, PinPal keeps track of your single pin spare percentage, and can tell you what your average would be if you picked up all single pin spares.
Scores can be entered either by selecting all the pins you knocked down or by entering the scores you get for each ball.
The lite version of PinPal is completely functional and can keep statistics for:
* One league, with four weeks of games.
* Five open bowling games.

Does exactly what I needed. Recording my scores to calculate my average. Takes about 30 seconds to add a full game, and it's quick.

I've tried a similar application and it came nowhere close to this. The guys in my league are in awe at some of the stats it produces which ultimately allows me to have very focused practice sessions. Wish List: - add in existing stats from the league sheets to establish current average/handicap - a practice mode where you can specify a pin(s) your having trouble with and count hits or misses. This will help in tracking your practice sessions and improvement Thanks again for this amazing app!

I just started bowling again after a 13 year layoff. Back in those days I had a little hand held bowling scoring calculator. Now with an iPhone I was searching for an app to record my scores. Happened upon some apps and after reading some reviews, decided to download this one. I was blown away by all the stats it contains. I love numbers and this app just rocks!!!! I would like the ability to export/email the information into a spreadsheet. It would also be nice if we could track ball speed. I was surprised to see a couple of bowling alleys that recorded that on their scoring machines. I will say that at $8.99, the full version is highly over-priced and has absolutely no chance of me purchasing it. That's just an outright ridiculous price for an iPhone app. Slice it at least in half and you've a good shot at obtaining me as a customer. At this point I'm willing to forsake some bells & whistles for a more reasonably priced app from someone else.

It needs to be more user friendly. I'm all about reading directions... But in this case. The screens show one thing here but can't seem to make it work on the app itself. I really want this app to work, I may even buy the full one if it is all I truly hope it's going to be. Please show me how to record my pins!!!! I'll up this to a 5. Oh and I want to b able to share the results. If I'm tracking this for my daughter. I want to b able to email/text/send this to her or her coaches.
