Partner Bidding and Trump counting

Partner has a problem with overbidding or selecting wrong trump which leads to setting of team. Partner does not count trump which leads to misplays. Despite those deficiencies I do like playing . Thanks

Strange passing choices

At times the computer will pass an ace instead of the fourth leg of a double marriage, and sometimes it wont pass the 10 of a family. These are stupid choices and should be corrected in the underlying logic. Whatever code it has for double pinochles should be used also for double marriages, and it should prioritize the passing of trump cards first.

This game is really irritating me ????? the bidding strategy by my partner is all over the place. One hand he/she bids on nothing and now they had a double ace full run in hand and passed in the first round! Driving me ?

A few suggestions. THIS IS PINOCHLE

1. When all the aces of trump are played and you hold one of the 10’s, and it is your play, the 10 of trump should be played when you are the opponent. 2. If your partner call trump, you should pass a double marriage if you are holding them. A double run scores more than holding the double marriage. 3. If you have the bid and you are passing back to your partner, you should pass the pinochle back, instead of holding on to a queen just to score a points for a marriage when it could give your partner double pinochle. This is when spades or diamonds are not trump.

I have played several other pinochle apps and this is by far the best one out there. So why the three stars? This is so frustrating that I have almost deleted the app. In a hand I have had an extremely good hand, but no meld. My partner passes, so I have no option but to pass. We lay down our meld and he has double aces. This happened with double aces, kings, etc. etc. Something similar also happens, my partner passes before I can bid. I have a lot of meld, double pinochle plus aces, and other stuff - but no marriage. The others take the bid. At the end our hands are shown. He has twelve cards in a suit (run). I hit ‘NEW GAME’ and start over. A note - I know this is an iPad so the use of he and him are used because that’s the way I think when I’m playing.

How is it when East and west bring in a bid with no aces then his partner has all four of them? How can they get back to back double runs or 1000 aces.

Please reprogram the app. It’s crazy when: -Partner bids when score is 149 and the opponents have less than 20 -Partner bids ridiculously high when one short of a double pinochle. Nothing else in the hand.

I love playing this game despite some errors in computer programming when bidding and playing out the hand.

Definitely slanted to EW players. Would love to have opportunity to play hand a second time, changing suits. Consider it treadmill worthy, can play and walk simultaneously.

Frustrating

Partner’s bids at times make no sense. As in having a run in hand and passing at 31 at other times bidding into the 40s without an ace in the suit they want to make trump and little to no meld support. The game play at times would have had my dad whack them along side the head
