It will provide combination of relative aperture and camera shutter speed to make a great picture.
With EVCalculator you will not have to manually make aperture and shutter speed calculations.
I loved this app for determining pinhole exposure times and also for determining the size of my homemade pinhole. I have used it with paper negatives and with 4x5 film.... it was a great resource for students in my alternative process photo class. Please update this app!
Easy to use with the pictures. Hopefully this gets updated and I can use it for regular shot.
It does a nice job calculating exposure times with a well rounded pre-defined lighting scenarios, but the dial used to select these scenarios is a bit clunky. If you decide to update this, please take into consideration some better/faster means of selecting the environment. Something like the option wheel that the iPhone already utilizes would be key.
Regarding its usefulness for pinhole photography: - Requires determining an Exposure Value, but provides no way to calculate this based on ISO, shutter and f/stop information (i.e., using a camera as a meter) - No apparent way to take into account reciprocity - pinhole f/stops provided appear to be arbitrary Generally: - Horrible help screen, with multiple spelling errors, incoherent instructions and poor formatting - Many spelling errors in EV descriptions - Filter list only includes neutral filters; adding black and white filters would not have been much more work.
On my iPhone 4S and IOS7, crashes every time I set anything in the setting menu. I got it for pinhole photography; set it to pinhole, it crashes.
Very good app up to a few months ago. I specially wanted the pinhole value meter, since I do pinhole photography. The pinhole mode crashes every time. I would really appreciate it if you can fix this. Thank you.
