Two stars....

Lovatic012

I love this game and the graphics are amazing. It’s extremely addictive but I’m giving it two stars because it crashes constantly especially in the middle of a purchase! I paid for several different packs of tables and balls. It would crash in the middle of me purchasing and then I would have to restore my purchases causing me to have to re download all of the tables again which is quite annoying considering it takes forever for them to download. I don’t normally leave reviews on anything especially a bad review but this is very upsetting to me because I love this game so much and I expected so much more out of it. ? please fix these issues. Also it would be nice to be able to view and purchase the tables and balls individually instead of having to purchase packs.

Good but...

Kavok

It would be nice if it would use Game Center to remember high scores instead of having its own system. Every time there's an update to this it wipes out my high scores as well as my objectives for the tables granting wizard status. VERY ANNOYING! The historic tables themselves are a lot of fun to play and makes me want to own the real thing someday. Update: Just opened the app after getting a new iPad and now “Tales of the Arabian Nights” is gone. I recall that when the Williams contract was expiring, any Williams machines purchased before the deadline would be available to my account in perpetuity after the deadline. So what happened? I even did a Restore Purchases and it’s still missing. In its place I got a crappy garage band machine that I would never have purchased.

My paid tables won’t play.. they want me to buy again?

Rkworth

I bought several table packs. With my new iPad, it says it restores my purchases, but only 3 of 39 work. I’m not paying twice.

Where are my high scores and table goals?

prattdiv

I just purchased a new iPad Pro. I was able to load my owned games, but restoring high scores (either local or remote) does nothing. How do I get these back?

Great Pinball, Awful interface

sbj-in-az

Great simulations, great games, terrible interface, company REALLY slow to respond to issues. Slow as in YEARS. This app still doesn’t support the iPhone X, XR, XS Max or any of the iPhone 11’s. It puts critical interface elements at the top of the screen cut off by the notch and others cut off by the bottom of the display (display scaled wrong) The iPhone X was introduced over two years ago. We’re still waiting.

Great pinball but needs some updating

buster1957

This is a great pinball game for iOS, but recently I upgraded to an iPhone 11 Max and the animated backboard screens are blocked partially at the top of the screen. Hopefully the developer will fix this issue.

UI Broken (Again!!!)

cross_bearer_02

Once again, the UI for this game is completely broken on iPhone X and iPhone 11 devices (at least). Can’t switch the game to landscape mode and can’t even start the games at all on the iPhone 11. I’ve been a long-time fan of this app, but I’m afraid it’s come time to retire it for something better. The developers just don’t seem very interested in fixing these problems, it seems. This game has been broken for me ever since I first got an iPhone X. I now have an iPhone 11, and it’s still broken. Can’t recommend this one anymore, I’m afraid.

Please don’t go best pinball arcade for iPhone

bobey49

Don’t go just don’t feel the same on a switch or ps4 and Xbox because the screen controller more suited for the screen on the iPhone I don’t like the other pinball app they are more laggy less tables more money wouldn’t even touch them so if you guys go I’m done with pinball until I get a virtual pinball arcade cabinets ?

Needs updated for the “Notch”

IJCobra

Although it technically works on iPhone X, XS, and 11/Pro, the dumb and troublesome notch” at the top of the screen covers half of the pinball machine’s video display. This makes it hard or impossible to play the game’s video modes or to even enter your name for a high score. The controls at the bottom of the screen (like ball launch) don’t work well with the new “swipe up” system in new iPhones without a home button. Half the time I go to launch the ball the app acts like I’m trying to switch apps and goes back to the menu, causing an annoying interruption to gameplay several times per game. Also, the real control problem with Pinball on a phone is there really is no good way to “nudge” the table. This is intuitive on a real table because you are actually holding the table with your fingers on the buttons. On a phone you have to move your fingers to the top of the screen and swipe. It is a long process that you will not be able to do fast enough which will ruin your game as the balls fly down the drains. Furthermore, Apply is constantly changing the screen sizes. The iPhone 11 Pro is dimensionally skinnier than the original iPhones. The game has not been modified to compensate so the sides of the table are cutoff. On some games this can include the drains in certain views. If you can’t see the drains, you can’t nudge the table in an effort to save your ball. But as I already discussed, the whole nudge feature is flawed anyways. Another downer is Pinball Arcade used to have the rights for many other pinball machine manufacturers but they lost these rights to Zen pinball. So Pinball Arcade no longer sells the best virtual machines. Thankfully, I bought them all before they lost the rights and PA still supports playing them and even redownloading them onto a new device. Other than that, this is by far my favorite game and pinball platform on iOS. It just needs updated for newer phones.
