Better before the update

When the game first came out it was fun and you had more then 2 planes, now its has more controls, less planes without coins, and 3d so it lost its uniqueness.

I like the fact that this feels somewhat realistic and all that, but the problems are mostly with the controls. They’re a little ugly, and the physics aren’t very accurate. Also, this GPS is not very easy to navigate with, since it points you to the middle of the runway. The problem with this is that you don’t know what direction the runway is pointing, until you actually see it, so sometimes you have to go around a second time, which is a pain. But the game is super addictive, since you get coins for flights, and those coins allow you to get super cool planes.

It’s impossible to get a clear landing when there are no lights on the runway during fog mode! Also, you cannot read the altimeter and speed of the aircraft while flying.. last, should also have cockpit mode so you can get a better simulation

Controls are clumsy and misaligned; some very nice features and graphics but landing is too difficult for an app of this nature. Crash, crash, delete.

Overall, it’s not hard. And I love the gear down and flaps and brake buttons. And nice aircrafts. More or Less. But I would like it if there was a on screen radar. Anyway, when I landed, I went through the ground and I couldn’t get back up. I just was wondering if anyone else had this problem or if it was just me. And if it is some glitch, I just hope that it gets fixed up or i don’t think that I will play it anymore but otherwise, the game is great and I really think you should play it. Pilot!
More Than a Game

The variety of aircraft and their relative performance is very good once you get the hang of the control sensitivity. I think it even provides enough positive transfer to be useful in refreshing some piloting skills (e.g. point to point navigation using TACAN or VOR/DME.) I do wish the altimeter, and airspeed indicator was more representative and a VVI would be nice for better practicing instrument skills (in the weather, with winds!) well enough to feel more proficient afterwards. The aerobatics possible with the fighters is kloogy but fun. It’s cool landing on the carrier with some of the slower aircraft including the Harrier! I wish you had enabled the hook function on the F/A-18, and the F-,15, and F-16 too for that matter. For a game it exceeds my expectations.
