Thank you!

I really appreciate you making such high quality apps and not robbing us with greedy pricing like so many others seem to be doing. I am a loyal customer already!!

Loved the Following Directions Apps

Mandee's Music

I loved the others so I thought that I would try this one! Not a favorite and I will probably never use it again. In between the statement and the selection choices, there is an hourglass. It takes forever!!!!! I thought at first this was good because it allowed time for processing, but it turns out to be very distracting! It takes way too long and one of my kids actually kept saying "loading loading loading" over and over again! Disappointed! I highly recommend the Following Directions and "More Following Directions." They get 5 stars!

worst

vpaparaju

This is the worst one I ever purchased. I wish I could get the money back. This software is very slow, and there is no proper guidance to the kids to play. sound is not good.

Disappointed

SLPLaura

I was excited to get this app since a lot of my kiddos need practice listening to sentences of varying complexity and extracting meaning, which is exactly what this app claimed to do. I understand the idea behind the extra processing time, but even when turning it to off, the presentation is still extremely slow. I would like the option to have the speech read in real time. In addition, I wasn't aware before buying the app that there is no data collection option and that this company doesn't plan on offering it with any of their apps to keep the apps they have affordable. Finally, the picture choices move, and many times my kids struggle dragging the picture to the box. I will still use this app, but would not have bought it if I had known the aforementioned items in advance.

Picture the Sentence

SLPM

After trying the lite version, I I purchased the full version of this app. It supports the "dual coding theory" of language development which requires the student to match language with imagery. By setting a slight countdown, the developers have created a scenario where students have to retain a visual image of the receptive language presented which is critical for expressive development in my experience. My students engage with the app and I am seeing more expressive development as a result of its use.

Excellent app to get user thinking

Judd167

I love how this app shows individual pictures of words/actions to build a sentence, then asks the user to pick the picture that depicts the whole sentence. The user really needs to think about what the sentence means and choose the best picture for that sentence. It really gets the wheels turning! Love this app from both an educator's standpoint and that of a parent of a child with special needs!

Love this app!!

Annisafan

Hamaguchi has developed yet another awesome app. Picture the sentence is exactly what your child will do. They place an action that they have just visually seen as well as heard and place it inside a picture frame. I like how you have designed this app to help the child improve their auditory and visual skills while improving expressive and receptive language skills at the same time. I like the illustrations and how the settings can be adapted to fit the needs of your child. I love all of the Hamaguchi apps!! This is a must have app!

good for memory

karen hinkle

this is a good app i think it will help to get them to listen and then a wating period then they have to pick what the have just heard so it is also good for memory to and has alot of setting you can choose from well done

Great Memory App

Chiquita2271

This is a great app. I love how it shows individual pictures of items as it reads the sentence and then wants you to use your memory as well as creativity to put the pictures together into one picture which shows all of what the sentence is stating. You really have to listen well because some of the pictures are generic but, the end collaborative picture is detailed and you need to know those details. Great job!

Wonderful cognitive and auditory learning game!

Katie Zink

This App provides a wonderful opportunity for children to strengthen their auditory processing skills as well as cognition. The game encourages the user to "picture" the phrase, to think about what it really means, and what it would look like in picture form. For example, the phrase shown is "The boy is eating," the game then provides an option for a sand timer for thinking-time, and finally the user picks the picture that best matches the phrase previously shown. There is even a fun 'pick the door' activity that pops up after so many phrases are completed. Children's progress can be recorded and even sent through email. The App also has multiple user options.
