Pros and Cons of PicsArt

PROS: • easy to use tools and menus • constant updates that make the app better than it already is • easy ways to share your art with the friendly community • unique tools that I haven’t seen in other mobile photo editors CONS: • it may not be like this for everyone, but PicsArt does drain my battery by a good amount • some of the load screens (when your using the portrait tools or such) take a long time Overall Review: PicsArt is a great app that is very useful for people who want to make cool photos or just to have a little fun with a photo editor. This is a really cool app that I think everyone should try out. And with all of the updates, everything should be fixed in no time. 10/10 ?
New Update - Missing Effects

I'd happily give a 5 star rating if it weren't for the recent update. I use the Feast Magic effect often. It's missing....Just one complaint of many. Where did so many of the effects go?

I've used this app for a long time, but recently got frozen out by the update. It feels very...hubristic...to only allow iOS 10+ access to the app (most recent to date is iOS 11) while most other common apps still allow iOS 8+. Is this because of improving tech and graphics? Based on other reviews, I highly doubt it. What a shame. The photo editor was one of the best. Allowed for easy manipulation of photos and the variety of cool effects was vast. That being said, there is no way that I know of to delete previous work under the saved drawing category which leads to excessive waiting when starting a new project and I had many issues with crashing while switching tools or while multitasking in other apps.

-When you reopen the app, it reloads everything and puts you in the default home screen. Even if you just swap between apps. I wish that when you restarted the app, it would pick up where you left off on your feed. -I wish the unfiltered feed was always an option. This seems to come and go for some reason. Also, what happened to the ability to search for photos taken near you? -Censorship in searching for some of the tags. For example, if you search for “#sexy” it’ll tell you that there are over 35,000 pics with this tag in the suggestions, but if you complete the search it’ll give you no results. This also used to be an option (adult content filter). I think this is also keeping me from seeing some of the people I follow in my feed. Censorship is for fascists. -The search was updated with a completely useless screen that just seems to slow down the whole process. This is with an iPhone 6 with both iOS and PicsArt running the current versions as of November 29, 2017.

When y’all see all them Instagram baddies with all their cool edits this is the app they all use. It’s super easy to navigate and it has a ton of free stickers.

Been using this app for like 4 years now. It's essentially a free mobile/lite version of photoshop. What more can you ask for?

I loveeeeee playing around with this app. I post a lot to my walking group. I use the app to make my posters fun and exciting to read. BTW I have deleted all of my other photo editing apps...this is just how much I love it!
