They want full control of your account

XcaLi747

No one should ever give the amount of privilege that they are requiring. The app used to be great, I payed for the upgrade and now they pull this? Horrible move

NO. I WONT GIVE MY ACCOUNT TO YOU

ACrawf41

I refuse to give them complete access to my account. This is crazy. Why would I ever want to give anyone permission to completely do whatever they want with my account. $4.99 well spent until today. Don't waste your time or your money. I was unaware that I was paying $5 for you to take control of my account

Top Great App

BeariePie

I use this app everyday, it's the only way to view Reddit pics the way I like it.

BEWARE!

Leetch2

They want you to give them full account control. In other words, they can post for you, change votes, read your in-app Mail and send in-app Mail from your account. Must be government run ?

Why?

Prometheus94

I've been using this app for over two years now and all of a sudden you guys want access to my full account. Why would that be good for me, what would you even use my account for? no! I plan on finding a new app.

No

Frazkii

Just no. You guys shot yourself in the toe with these new terms. I won't waste my time with this app or even reiterate what everyone else has already mentioned. Good day. PS You can refuse the terms and continue to use the app. But I'm just really turned off by this stunt, so... ??

So my account was compromised...

fortris

...and this is literally the only third party app I've ever used Reddit on. Seeing as this happened literally a few days after it forced me to sign in again I'm forced to believe the sign in is actually a phishing page or there's a MASSIVE coincidence going on. I'd avoid this application until they at the bare minimum let you sign in through safari to verify that the URL belongs to Reddit and not a third party website.

Disappointed

Lu221

I deleted this app today after using it daily for 2 years. It's ridiculous that I should give over all my info to look at pictures?!?!?

Nooooope

Guys bio

Definitely not given them access and consent to all my information and the ability to change whatever they want for whatever reason. Thank you but no

App icon little icky, but still great

I don't get all the hate about the permission, as the dev clearly stated it is required by reddit. Besides, are you really scared of others hacking your account if you are not shitposters on any political subreddit? I
