...but the ads really take away from it. Like, it’s really annoying. I wish there was a way to make a purchase to get rid of them, but I’m not seeing an option to do that. If you update the game to include that option, then it’s five stars from me! I played the first one and loved it, except for the ads.
Beautiful artwork and charming story. I just finished the game but I hope there will be a third. I'm in love with the adorable moonkeeper! And the ads really aren't bad.
Picrossluna, and it’s sequel, are both incredible games. Their art and atmosphere are soft and warming, in a way that makes you sleepy, like you could drift off. This is the game I play to put myself to sleep, and as someone who struggles with sleeping, it’s incredible to me. Picrossluna’s main aspect is that it has what a lot of mobile games don’t: Passion. The developer(s) definitely care about telling a story and making enchanting Picross puzzles. The advertisements aren’t thrown at you unlike other mobile games, albeit I do wish there was a way to pay a fee to turn them off. Picrossluna2 doesn’t come without its issues, however. It’s obvious that the game has been translated very poorly, and the moonkeeper sometimes speaks in Japanese instead of English. Whether this was an intentional design or not, I’m not sure, but the broken English in other sections of the game makes me think it wasn’t. There’s also issues with the music that weren’t present in the first game. Instead of fading out or looping, it just abruptly cuts and moves on to the next track, instead of moving along smoothly like in the first game. All-in-all, Picrossluna2 is honestly what I think mobile games need. So many are just cash grabs with no soul put into them, but Picrossluna2 and it’s original show so much care and love, and while there’s a few minor complaints, it doesn’t detract from the game’s overall experience of calm, gorgeous storytelling with fun, calming puzzles.
Beautiful, variety of difficulty, very few ads compared to other games and they are very short. Thanks for a low stress uplifting game...very rare
I’d give it five stars if it actually did what it said it would do, which is remove ads by the time you complete 90% of the game. It happened in he first Luna game, and now that I’m getting close to the end of this one, I’m not having any hope. Otherwise, I’ve enjoyed both games so far. I like this whole story based picross thing.
This is one of the best Picross games I have played. I love picross luna and picross Luna 2. I hope they come out with a third game! I’m not even half way done with either of them but I hope when I am finished there will be more picross games developed by them. I love the cursor system they have. It’s super easy to use when you are playing on a phone.
This game has ads that can't be disabled. Unfortunately, some of the ads are autoplaying video ads that ignore the fact that your phone is on silent and play at full blast. Unacceptable. A shame because I was enjoying the game until that happened multiple times.
