Can't even edit a photo because every time you click on the app, it's ad after ad. I know it's free but it's useless when you can't use it

The app itself isn't that bad, there's many things that are helpful when editing in my phone. But, there are things I'm not a huge fan of. Possibly being able to move the picture you're overlaying would be helpful, but the thing I despise about this app is that it access' my location, without my permission. Why would you need to access my location? Please fix this.
