Special thanks to Chris Allen from the weekly Pickleball Show podcast (available for download on iTunes) for introducing me to the fascinating game of Pickleball.
The app crashes a lot when entering names. Not good in he heat of a tournament.
This is a very cool app!!! It would be great if it can be used with the apple watch, because if your playing, you usually don't have your phone on the court. I also play with 3 people a lot. I would love to be able to have that set up as well!!
Just downloaded this app, Even though I set it up as a doubles match I cannot get the ball to the second server. It's acting as if it's only a two player game. Really wish this would work. If I'm. Missing something would like to know.
Mr. McNamara, Thank you for this app. Two quick points: (1) I agree with "Merlin's Apprentice", I finally figured out how to control the scoring but it was very difficult to understand - perhaps more basic instructions in the next version. (2) I was in the middle of scoring a game when a reminder popped up on my phone. When I clicked OK, the app returned to the "main" opening screen and then showed the next "court" screen with the scores reset to zero. Thanks again!
It is very aggravating to tap a player name and have the scoring change when preparing for a game and needing to make corrections in a hurry. Only tapping a score should change scoring. Tapping a name should allow name changing only!
Very good app! Intuitive for the most part. Handles many things well. I would love to see a few modifications in the future. Add player team names into one "chart" so there is no need to click twice to activate the keyboard and then hit backup to erase prior to typing. Move the reset up by the globe (avoiding accidents). Add an ability to set a "change ends" notification. At the games conclusion add ability to send a record to a page - allowing for records of up to 3 games or so. Great job.
This app does the job. I would like to see an option of rally scoring since many places use it to shorten the games. Also I would like to see a timer included so you can know the length of time of the games, then it would be a 5 star app
