PicaSim - Flight Simulator Reviews

This is by far the best simulator for mobile that I have found. It has so many options to tune it to what it really feels like to fly rc. I have just one idea: I love the way the JART M70 glider flies, do you think there is any way to bring in a powered version of it? That would be amazing!

This is a really great RC simulator and will help you learn to fly RC powered planes and gliders. It’s also very reasonably priced. I read the other reviews before buying, and was even more impressed with the controls and visuals after I bought it.

Terrific slope soaring simulator

I’ve flown rc gliders since the 70’s but haven’t flown in a few years. I recently saw videos of the new VTPR and UltraBatics slope soaring techniques which inspired me to purchase and build an Ahi slope soarer. I was afraid I would wreck it on the first chuck off the cliff so I looked around for simulators to knock the dust off my rusty thumbs. Unfortunately they all seemed to require a pc and an expensive joystick controller or dongle cable to hook up to my transmitter. Then I found PicaSim. What an amazing app! It looks beautiful on my iPad and the on-screen touch thumb controllers are perfectly adequate. The physics model perfectly captures the dynamics of slope soaring and the scenes by the beach and in the mountains are beautiful. The included light weight LeFish model closely matches the Ahi and it’s been fun trying out the large variety of other models included in the app. After a couple days of practice on PicaSim I was successfully able to fly my Ahi. Now I’m working on getting my rudder inputs and inverted flight tuned up on the sim before trying them out on the Ahi. There’s a great “Intro to R/C Slope Aerobatics with PicaSim” YouTube video I’ve been picking up tips from. Thank you developer for writing and making PicaSim available on the iPad. No hidden add on fees and it’s easily worth 10X what I paid.?????

I love this rc sum it’s the best one I’ve ever tried I am a rc pilot and this game has helped me learn quicker and I have tried every airplane in the game and I would like to see more airplanes like an f16 or any fighter jet

This thing is one of a kind! This simulator made me wanna try other facets of RC flight like as slope soaring, flying wings, DLG, 3D and even 4D! Love the challenges, scenery options, plane options and even plane color options! Another feature I’m getting more into is the settings. It reminds me of programming a computer transmitter, love that you can get quick practice at adjusting setting like ballast, trim, and mixes. This should be the top mobile rc flight simulator app.
