This is the most featured piano on the AppStore for the iPhone. Well thought out and designed interface. Great app! One glitch I have noticed (however, not noticeable enough to change my rating), is that when the Zoom feature (three finger tap and slide) in the Settings on the iPhone is enabled, then three-note chords do not work properly and there is a lag in response to any chords. I disabled the Zoom function in my Settings and the response was amazing. All my chords are instantaneous; just like playing on the piano.

This hasn't been updated in a long while and now in the face of the new GarageBand its a bit weak. It at least need some velocity detection.

The good: 1). Fast single key or full octave shift. The to and the bottom keys can shift independently. 2). Double row keys. 3). Recording capability. Need improvement 1). Sound quality. Around C4 it sounded more like a steel string guitar. 2). The fast key shifter is at the wrong place. As I play the key on the edge I accidentally touch them almost every time. I can lock the key. But then I have to press twice to shift key and once more to lock it. 3). The sharp at the edge sometimes is not playable. 4). The key can not be stretched or deformed. When showing the max # of keys, the sharp is so narrow to be playable. 5). How about an even longer sustain. It is hard to create a virtual piano on a small screen while making it playable. I think the best piano app is call "piano dx". It is free and it does most of the task this pianist will do except fast independent shifting and recording.
Don't waste your $4
This app stinks. DO NOT BUY THIS. it is a major waste of money. I thought it would be a high quality app being $4 and all. Well all I can say is I'm really disappointed. You can't even record more than one song! I bought this so I could compose pieces that I would be able to play back for my friends. Apparently this app is for people who plan on writing one song. Very disappointing like I mentioned before. I give this 0 stars but i guess thats not possible on the app store. Listen to me people, DO NOT BUY THIS. >:P

I love this piano application. The user interface is wonderful and works great, there are just a few things that need to be improved. I would like to see a setting that allows you to play the piano while the music application is still running. I would also like the startup time to be improved. Whenever I use this application, it is because I need to check the pitch of something quickly, and it usually takes a couple seconds to start up.
SpecialK!
I have it on the iPhone 4s and when I open the app it zooms in and makes everything look huge and there aren't any settings in the app that changes that and when I go back to my homescreen that is zoomed in also so then I have to power off my phone to get it back to normal.

What kind of jerk would make a piano app for the iPhone in which you can't play along with your own library!? I can't believe I paid for this.
