Awesome app
Dpt.student

This app is amazing. It allows us to understand gait smoothly and analyze gait under various deviations. Highly recommend!

Gait has always been a complicated concept to learn for me. But with this app I have become more confident. The app breaks down each gait phase into ROM norms, muscle activity, and critical events. By understanding each of those components I am able to pick out more quickly gait deviations I see in patients. The app also has a section in common faults seen in different pathologies. The app even includes videos with real time EMG analysis. How much more can you make learning easier? I am very happy with this app and I recommend it to anyone.

Greatest app of all time
PTschoolishumerus

This app is simply amazing! It takes gait and breaks it down into all of its component parts which makes learning easy. My favorite part of this app is the analyze section. You can stop/pause and slow down all of the videos of normal and deviated gait patterns! Which is so so so helpful when trying to learn gait. Also, LOVE the conditions section. It gives a great picture into how gait is affected by certain neurological and physical conditions! This app puts the "fun" in functional gait :) Keep rocking out Physio U, all of your apps are awesome!

This app is GOLD!

Analyzing gait is definitely not an easy task to master. As a physical therapy student, I find myself constantly flipping through all of my notes while simultaneously trying to search for videos on what gait should look like. Well, look no more! I now have access to all the gait analysis essentials right at the tip of my fingers. Through this app I can brush up on my knowledge of the phases of gait, along with range of motion, muscle activity, and critical events in each phase. What’s even better is that this app lists all of the common gait deviations seen at each joint, with corresponding videos. But it doesn’t stop there! There is a “conditions” section which includes videos of people with common pathological conditions along with a written explanation of gait deviations seen. This app provides a very dynamic way of learning, which will be beneficial to both students and practicing clinicians. Way to go PhysioU team, you’ve done it again!

Seeing gait is believing

Ever get tired and weary from reading endless walls of text about the different phases of gait? Don't lie, you know you have. It's quite a burden to read and attempt to conceptualize what proper gait vs pathological gait really looks like. This app will show you everything you would possibly want to know. It includes videos, EEG readings for muscular activity in different phases, references and resources, and much more. Learning about gait has never been easier.

Great Resource

This app takes everything that you need to know and puts it in one place. Instead of trying to watch people walk in real time while flipping through your gait book, this app allows you to slow the gait speed and analyze it step by step. Learning gait doesn't have to be so complicated with this great visual aid to assist you!

The necessary supplement to understanding the gait cycle
Runsurfroll

As a student PT, I have a lot of trouble analyzing gait in real time. While I have memorized the phases, different ROMs, critical events, etc, I do not think I truly had a grasp on normal gait until I took a look at this app. This app is a great supplement to any gait lecture and provides an excellent review of normal gait and pathological gait. This app is excellent for PT students. Especially for those of us that struggle with the material. Keep up the good work PhysioU. You've helped me get this far in PT school.

Great Learning Tool!

This app is so helpful when it comes to learning gait. Not only does it show normal gait but it also demonstrates common pathological gait patterns! The slow motion feature really helps when analyzing the patterns and breaking down each phase when looking for impairments.

Amazing

This app is absolutely amazing. I am a PT student and have had difficulties in the past with gait, but this app has helped me understand it better with all the visuals it has and explanations. Definitely recommend it!

Seriously, such a good app. Very well organized and user friendly! I love being able to see the normals right next to a photo of the phase because I'm always so confused with what phase is which since they all overlap. This app is sooooo helpful! All of their apps are great, looking forward to what else they will have for me!
