How would you like to control your desktop from your iPhone -- remotely shut down your computer, start a program, edit text??
Well now you can!
PHP GETter makes a GET call to the PHP page you specify. The call looks like this: "page.php?button=Button1"
You can now create a PHP web page to save the button you pressed to a file. You can create a quick Java program that presses a key on your keyboard or anything else!
Remember – you are in control!

There needs to be a little more guidance as to how to setup something to utilize this app. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with it. I want to remote shut down my computer as advertised. How?

I don't understand

Okay so I can make the php page know when I want it to do an action, how does this relate to Java? How do I make the PHP page run a java class

An app for everything?

Well, this app can pretty much fit the theme of "There's an app for that." Making a GET request to a PHP page is pretty basic (you can do it with any browser that has a URL bar), and this app severely limits your ability to send GET requests to a website. You can only send a GET request with the label "button". Nothing else. Strongly suggest allowing custom GET requests. Next, the advertising is pretty insane, and they make it unclear that, in able to do what was described (or anything useful in this app, for that matter), you need previous programming experience ( for, AT THE LEAST, PHP). Also, I'll say this now, if you have a PUBLIC PHP page that will shut down your computer, DELETE IT. It will allow anyone on Earth to turn off your computer if they know the right GET request to use. And finally, the app doesn't tell me if the GET request was sent or not.
