The app only lets you post two photos and save two photos. After that you have to pay. That’s not two WHOLE photos either. That’s one photo cut up into squares and each square is one photo. So if you use the layout with nine squares you basically waste your time posting less than half of the photo before you realise you have to delete the posts and download another app.

This app is one of the best tools for splitting photos for Instagram. I love it, and use it to make my IG profile look professional and engaging.

It’s intuitive and, as such, easy to use. Unfortunately, if you split a picture and post a couple portions and you want to wait a few minutes, the current split has vanished and if you choose the same picture again and same split, it doesn’t line up. Need to fix the bug so it doesn’t do that.

If you’re going to be using Instagram extensively and care enough to use this to enhance your page, just pay the pro fee. It’s less than $4 USD, which is around the average price of a coffee. There are claims that using this app to split images reduces the quality of the resulting split images. I have not noticed any drop in image resolution. For the intended purpose (of posting on Instagram and viewing images on smaller screens) this is fine. Don’t use this app to split your professional photography for gallery prints... Simple, easy to use app.

Update: Regarding the developer response. I am using the SAME image and comparing. A shot taken on the iPhone XS Max. The image cropped manually vs your app. Your app reduces the image quality, period. The Good: Easy to use. The Bad: The claim that it does not reduce the image quality is false. I have run repeated side by side comparison tests of the same source image cropped manually vs with this app and another similar app. While this one does well it does NOT retain the image quality. The Ugly: Your image zoomed in after processing it through this app. The Summary: Good idea. Works well enough and hopefully one day lives up to its claims. I would be happy to change my score if they remove that false claim. It’s an otherwise well designed app.

I looked at a couple of images in the app to decide and when I looked at the 3rd and when I spilt it and tried to download the final, 9th tile, it asked me to purchase. Not the best try to buy feature. It should be based on downloading all tiles from 2 images and NOT based on splitting 2 images. I want to see these 2 examples posted to Instagram - now I have nothing.

This app did exactly what I needed it to do. Other apps required me to pay a fee to post to Instagram with no other option for saving the images and posting myself outside of the app. This app made everything a breeze and without a fee!
