App Keeps Crashing

Danger Kitten

Worked for a little while but now it keeps crashing.

Not a great first impression

bkh821

I downloaded this app, tried to scan a photo in an album four times and the app shut down all four times.

Great for scanning old pictures

Dmg144

Great and easy. I wish I could tag pictures and also scan docs as pdf

Deceptive

RainbowLady7777

The photo scanner app looked awesome and seemed to work as intended. HOWEVER the photos cannot be uploaded via Dropbox. It took me a long time before I finally connected my phone to my PC via cord and copied photos that way. A lot of wasted time and effort. Still looking for a better app.

No love for iPhone 5???

Fluffy Leo

This app used to support iPhone 5, but now it is gone. Other Google apps still support iPhone 5, this app is not. Why???

Amazing

JenAnalyst

Great for capturing 35mm prints

Love it!!!!

So easy to use. I have not printed the photos yet but I would imagine the quality would be similar to the quality of the original photo. I’m using to make photo albums for my kids when I only have 1 photo of 3 kids.

Useless

Paul2349

You can simply use your camera and the pictures will come out just as well or better than using the scanner.

Has some glitches

sunnymw86

When it works, which is 60-70% of the time, it’s ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. When it doesn’t, it’s annoying. Force closing OVER and over, freezing up, having your four dots be like five feet away from the actual picture...

New version started crashing a few months ago

Google updated this app a few months ago so that it automatically syncs with your photo library. Now whenever I attempt to manually edit the corners of the captured image, the app crashes when updating the photo in my iOS photo library. After that the app is never useable again. It crashes every time I reopen it and this behavior survives through force-quitting the app and reboots. The only way to get it to work again is to uninstall and reinstall. Of course if you ever edit a photo manually again you’re back in the same boat. So frustrating and disappointing. I keep the app on my phone in hopes that someday Google will issue an update to fix it! This used to be one of the most useful apps I’ve ever had.
